Privacy Policy

Predictionist (predictionist.com) is a sports information site. Tennis is our first sport. We publish scores, draws, players, news, and what prediction markets currently expect. We do not take bets, our emails carry no ads, and we use no affiliate or betting links.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Predictionist is operated by PREDICTIONIST LIMITED (registration number 126555), Suite 4, 2nd Floor, The West Wing, Montarik House, 3 Bedlam Court, Gibraltar GX11 1AA, which is the controller of your personal data.

2. What we collect
If you keep a watchlist with an account (you sign in with a link we email you):
- your email address;
- the players and matches you follow;
- your email choices: whether you want emails, how often, any pause, quiet hours, and whether you want alerts about big moves;
- your time zone, so emails arrive at a sensible local time;
- when you agreed to receive emails, and the wording you agreed to;
- where your first visit came from: for example a post of ours on Threads, a search engine, or a direct visit, and the type of page you landed on;
- when you last used your watchlist;
- a record of the emails we sent you and what happened to them: delivered, bounced, marked as spam, unsubscribed.
If you use the watchlist without an account, your list is kept only in your browser. We don't receive it.
If you rate a summary (thumbs up or down), we store the vote together with the page and the summary it was about. We do not store who voted.

Technical data: our hosting providers process your IP address and request details to deliver the site and keep it secure.
3. How we use it
- to sign you in and keep your watchlist;
- to send the emails you asked for, at the frequency you chose;
- to understand how the site is used and which content brings readers back, so we can improve it;
- to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Emails
- We email you about your players only if you tick "Email me about my players". Keeping a list does not subscribe you.
- Sign-in emails are sent only when you ask for one. Each link works once and expires after 24 hours.
- Every email lets you unsubscribe with one click. You can also change how often you hear from us, or pause emails, in your watchlist settings.
- If an email bounces or is marked as spam, we stop sending to that address.
5. Cookies, analytics and browser storage
Analytics (Google Analytics 4): we use it to measure visits and how the site is used.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we ask first. Until you accept, Google Analytics stores no cookies on your device. Google may receive basic, cookieless measurement signals that carry no identifier, which it uses only for aggregate statistics.
- Elsewhere, analytics is on by default. You can switch it off at any time.
- Changing your choice: use "Your privacy choices" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser for 6 months. If you reject analytics, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
- With analytics consent only, we also keep in your browser the date of your last visit, so we can count returning visitors. Rejecting deletes it.
- Visits from our own team are excluded from our statistics.
Strictly necessary:
- Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. It is removed when you sign out or delete your data.
- Browser storage that is not used for tracking: your watchlist, if you don't have an account; whether you closed the "follow" prompt; the page and source of your current visit, kept only for that visit, so that if you sign up we know where you came from; and a 24-hour note that this browser asked for a sign-in link, so you aren't asked to confirm twice.
6. Who processes data for us
We use these service providers. They process data only on our behalf:
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager): analytics;
- Resend: sending our emails;
- Cloudflare: delivering the website, and security;
- Railway: running our application and database.
Some of them process data in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Account data, your list and email history: until you delete your account.
- Sign-in links: deleted once they expire (after 24 hours).
- Sign-in sessions: up to 90 days.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months after your last visit (the data then expires automatically).
- When you delete your account, we keep only anonymous counts, for example that an email was sent on a given day, with no link to you.
8. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from any email with one click, or change frequency and pause in your watchlist settings.
- Delete my data: in your watchlist settings. This removes your account, your list and your sign-in sessions at once.
- Analytics: accept or reject at any time under "Your privacy choices".
- Other requests, such as access, correction or objection: write to marketing@predictionist.com. We'll answer within one month.
- You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority or, if you live in the EU/EEA or the UK, your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Predictionist is meant for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted on this page.
